Our Story

AnnaJyoti was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, when our founder witnessed the stark contrast between food waste at weddings and empty plates in slums just a few kilometers away. That moment sparked a mission: to build a technology platform that connects surplus food with those who need it most.

Starting with a small group of volunteers, we've grown into a pan-India movement. Today, AnnaJyoti empowers thousands of donors, volunteers, and NGOs to work together toward a hunger-free India.
