AnnaJyoti maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We are committed to protecting all users, including minors, and to preventing our platform from being used to create, host, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or to facilitate exploitation of children in any way.
Age requirements
AnnaJyoti is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. Users must provide accurate age information when creating an account. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to register or use the platform.
Prevention & moderation practices
- Every NGO on AnnaJyoti goes through a verification process before being allowed to receive donations or communicate with donors.
- Photos and content uploaded through the donation-listing and messaging features are subject to review, and accounts found violating our policies are suspended or removed.
- We do not allow private messaging outside the scope of coordinating a donation pickup, reducing opportunities for misuse.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and relevant authorities when CSAE content or activity is identified.
How to report a concern
- In-app: use the "Report" option available on user profiles, donation listings, and chat conversations.
- Email: contact our designated safety team directly (see below). Reports are reviewed promptly, and accounts involved in confirmed violations are permanently removed.

Legal compliance
AnnaJyoti complies with all applicable child safety laws and reports confirmed instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant regional and national authorities as required by law.
